Our Expert's Opinion
[4.3/5]
After trying Thunderbit and comparing it with other web scraper tools I know, I feel it is very easy to start with, especially if you hate dealing with CSS selectors and complex settings. The 2-click scraping and AI “suggest fields” feature really helps you get a table of data fast, and I like that it exports to Sheets, Airtable, and Notion without extra limits. It also feels great for small sales or marketing tasks, like grabbing leads from marketplaces or social sites, and many users online say it’s “like having an intern doing the copy-pasting,” which matches my impression. But it’s not perfect: the credit system means you can hit a limit quickly if you scrape a lot, and some users on review sites give it only mid-range scores, not 5/5, often mentioning that complex pages or prompts still need trial and error. Also, because it runs as a Chrome extension, it can add a bit of noise to your browser and, like any extension, it’s another thing that may affect performance or require trust with your data. Overall, I think Thunderbit is a very friendly tool for non-technical people, great for everyday scraping, but heavy or very custom workflows might still be better with more advanced, developer-oriented tools.
