Our Expert's Opinion

When I tested Ashby after using many other recruiting tools, I felt it was a very powerful all-in-one platform, especially for reports and data – the dashboards and pipeline views gave me a much clearer picture of my hiring than most ATS tools I tried before. At the same time, it was not very easy at the start: there are many settings, so the first setup and first weeks felt a bit slow and sometimes confusing. Once I had my workflows and templates in place, moving candidates, booking interviews, and checking the funnel felt smooth, and the product felt fast and reliable in daily use. But some parts still need work in my opinion, like a few sourcing flows, offer steps, and small UX details that make some screens feel busy and not very friendly for new users. Overall, I think Ashby is a big upgrade if you care about structured hiring and analytics, but you should be ready for a learning curve before it really pays off.
