AI Review
[3.8/5]
Mem.ai receives mixed reviews as an AI-powered note-taking app. Users praise its AI features for organizing notes, voice input, and smart search, calling it transformative for productivity and journaling. However, complaints include bugs, syncing glitches, poor customer service, limited exports, and lack of integrations compared to competitors like Notion.

Our Expert's Opinion
[4.2/5]
Mem feels like the fastest way to throw messy thoughts into one place and still find them later, because Deep Search, Heads Up, and the built-in Chat make old notes show up when you need them. It is also handy for meetings, since it can record and transcribe and turn that into notes, so you spend less time typing. But it is not perfect: if you like strict folders, Mem’s “AI first” style can feel weird at first, and some people report the import experience can be shaky. Also, you must log in with a Google account, and there is no Android app right now, which can be annoying. Finally, if you use meeting recording, you really need to think about consent and privacy (Mem even calls this out as a real concern), so I would be careful with very sensitive stuff.
