After trying a0.dev compared with other app builders I’ve used, I think it’s really exciting and useful in many ways, but it also has some real limits. It does let you go from idea to a working app much faster than hand-coding and it can even help publish to the App Store and Google Play in minutes, which is impressive. But the AI still feels rough sometimes it often builds only simple prototypes and struggles with complex app logic or smooth UI, and users report bugs and limits in the interface. You also need to pay to do serious work and some advanced features (like real payments and ads) don’t work fully inside the testing app. So while it’s great as a starting point or learning tool, it’s not yet a perfect replacement for real developers on bigger projects.
