After testing CustomGPT.ai like I test other “chatbot from your data” tools, it feels fast to set up and easy to deploy, and I like that it can embed on a site, work as a live chat widget, and even run inside Slack for team questions. The RAG API and Python SDK are useful if you want more control, and the Auto-sync feature is great when your website changes often. But it is not perfect: the price jumps a lot if you need Premium features like auto-sync or white-label, and some users still mention reliability and “it needs improvement” in reviews, so you should test real questions and clean your content before trusting it fully.
