Decart is one of the most unusual companies in the gaming-AI space because it isn't trying to make another AI asset generator. Its world-model approach attempts to generate an interactive environment itself, allowing player actions to influence what appears on screen in real time. Oasis is therefore important from a technology perspective because it points toward games where the world is generated dynamically instead of being completely authored beforehand. The trade-off is that this remains an emerging technology rather than a replacement for established game engines such as Unreal or Unity. For an AI-tools directory, though, Decart is absolutely worth including because it represents the emerging AI world-model category.
