Granola feels fast and “out of the way” compared with many meeting note tools: the big win is that there is no meeting bot, so your calls stay normal, and on desktop it can transcribe almost anything you can hear (Zoom/Teams/Meet, even in-person audio), then turn messy bullets into a clean summary and action items. The downsides show up if you are picky: Granola does not store audio, so there is no playback for quote checking, and some reviewers say speaker labels can be wrong in transcripts, which can be annoying in interviews or big meetings. Setup can also be a little limiting because it needs an installed app and Google sign-in, and Outlook/Office 365 is not supported yet (plus iOS currently only works with microphone audio).
