Our Expert's Opinion

After trying Greenhouse and comparing it to other ATS tools, I feel it is a strong but not perfect option. The interface is clean and easy to learn, and I like how everything in the hiring flow is in one place, from opening a role to making an offer, with good reports and many integrations that save time for recruiters and hiring managers. But Greenhouse is not light or cheap: it is clearly built more for mid-sized and big companies, the setup and admin work can feel heavy, and some parts like reporting and customization still feel limited or a bit hard to change without extra cost or support. Overall, it feels like a powerful system that makes structured hiring much easier once everything is configured, but smaller teams or people who want very flexible custom reports and super simple workflows might find it a bit too much.
