Our Expert's Opinion
[4.6/5]
Inkeep is strong when you want no-code + code work in one place, because the Visual Builder and TypeScript SDK have 2-way sync, and you can set up multi-agent handoffs and tools (like MCP and custom function tools) without rebuilding everything twice. The security story also looks serious (SOC 2 Type II, PII protection, SSO/RBAC, and “no training” on your data), which matters for real teams. On the downside, it may feel “heavy” if you only want a simple FAQ bot, and you will likely need good content + some setup time to get great answers. Also, there is no free tier (they offer a demo/pilot instead), and the agent framework is source-available under Elastic License 2.0 with extra terms, which might not fit teams that need fully open-source licensing.
