Otter.ai provides fast and easy transcription with good overall accuracy, especially in clear audio. It is user-friendly and offers useful features like meeting summaries and speaker identification, though some manual editing is often needed for perfect accuracy.

Our Expert's Opinion
[4.2/5]
After testing Otter AI against other meeting tools, I think it is very strong for people who want simple, fast notes, but it is not perfect. The live transcription is usually very clear, and the automatic summaries and action items save a lot of time, especially in long school or work meetings. It also feels easy to start using, and the web and mobile apps make it handy on the go. However, sometimes the speaker labels are wrong, and the summary can miss small but important details, so you still need to double-check. In noisy calls or bad internet, the text quality also drops. The free plan has limits and the good team features are mostly on paid plans, which can be a problem for students or small clubs. Overall, Otter AI is one of the better options I’ve seen, but you should not trust it 100% and always review the notes yourself.
