After trying RunAleph (powered by Runway Aleph’s AI) for a few projects, I feel it’s a very powerful and interesting tool, but not perfect. It lets me do things that used to take hours in traditional editors like changing lighting, adding snow, or even expanding the camera angle just with simple text prompts, and the results often look smooth and believable. But it sometimes struggles with fast motion or very fine details, and the AI guesses for new background parts can look slightly fake if you look closely. Also, the rendering can take a while on larger clips, and it still doesn’t give the full manual control we get in tools like Adobe After Effects. Overall, RunAleph feels like a big creative boost for quick, bold edits, but it’s not a complete replacement for traditional editing when precision matters.
