Our Expert's Opinion
[4.8/5]
I found Sift particularly strong when looking at fraud across the entire customer journey, rather than just checking whether an individual payment looks suspicious. I liked the Explore interface because it makes a large amount of user and transaction information relatively easy to understand when investigating a risk event. The global network was another major advantage because the platform can recognize patterns that a business would not necessarily see from its own data alone. I also liked the ability to combine automated decisions with customizable workflows so teams can control how aggressive their fraud strategy should be. The main drawback is that the platform is enterprise-oriented and can take time to configure properly. Overall, I would recommend Sift for businesses managing significant transaction and account-abuse volumes
