After testing Taiga and comparing it with similar project management tools, it feels like a refreshing alternative to heavier platforms such as Jira. The interface is clean, navigation is easy, and setting up Scrum or Kanban projects takes very little time. I especially liked the open-source nature and self-hosting option, which gives teams more control over their data. However, Taiga is not perfect. Some advanced reporting, automation, and integrations are not as strong as larger competitors, and teams new to Agile may need a little time to understand its workflow. Overall, it delivers an excellent balance between simplicity and functionality, making it a strong choice for small and medium-sized Agile teams.
