Thunkable is a user-friendly no-code app builder that makes mobile app development accessible to beginners through its intuitive drag-and-drop interface. While users appreciate its ease of use, comprehensive documentation, and active community support, the platform faces criticism for mobile responsiveness issues, payment method limitations, and occasional functionality problems. It works well for simple projects but may require workarounds for more complex app updates.

Our Expert's Opinion
[4.4/5]
After using Thunkable alongside other no-code builders, I found it very easy to start with and the drag-and-drop interface really does make app building possible without coding, even for someone with no programming background, and live preview on my phone worked well. However, it can feel limited when you try to do more advanced things some features are missing or harder to implement than on other platforms, and there’s a small learning curve before you feel fully comfortable. Also, the need for a paid plan to publish or unlock stronger integrations means it may get expensive quickly if you want serious functionality, and sometimes simple customisations take more steps than expected. Overall, it’s great for simple apps and beginners, but for complex projects it can feel a bit restrictive.
