After trying Tile.dev and comparing it with other app builders I’ve used, my honest view is that it really speeds up making real mobile apps you can go from idea to a working app much faster than traditional tools, and the AI handles things like backend, auth, and app store builds for you, which is impressive. However, it isn’t perfect: sometimes the AI doesn’t produce exactly what you expected and you still need to tweak things in the visual editor, and the learning curve can feel steep at first if you’ve never worked with app logic before. The pricing and credit limits on the free plan can also feel limiting for bigger projects, and while the AI builds production-ready code it may still need careful review before real-world use. Overall, it’s a great tool for fast prototyping and launching simple to medium apps, but it doesn’t completely replace experienced developers for complex or highly custom projects.
