After testing Wordly on a few events, I really liked how easy it was to join with just a link or QR code and no app download, and the live captions and translations were fast enough that people could laugh at jokes almost at the same time as the speaker. The support for many languages and the option to see both captions, audio, and a transcript in one place made it feel very complete. However, compared to some other tools, the pricing is not very clear, and it can feel a bit expensive for small teams or schools, and you cannot just start a free instant trial to play with it. There are also moments where the translation struggles with complex terms or different versions of the same language, so you still need to prepare good glossaries and do some testing before a big event. Overall, Wordly feels like a powerful and simple option for live multilingual events, but it still needs better pricing transparency and a bit of setup work to get the best quality.
